History of the Practice
The Practice building was built before WW1 and there has been a medical practice on this site since the 1920’s. In the early days the building was the home of the doctor as well as the surgery. Most of the doctors who have practiced from this site have served this community for long periods of time.

The practice serves a broad cross-section of the community from the original house-holders, to young professional families and tertiary students.

The practice doctors routinely visit several nursing homes in the district. Patients are visited in local private hospitals or in their homes as required.

Dr Gary Whittaker MB BS FRACGP
Experienced in a broad range of general practice for all age groups. Interest in men’s health. Performs minor surgery. Visits number of local nursing homes.

Dr Sue Colen MB BS FRACGP
Experienced in a broad range of general practice care for all age groups. Sue has a particular interest in palliative care. Performs Implanon insertions and minor surgery. Visits number of local nursing homes.

Experienced in general practice for all age groups. Has a particular interest in Aged Care. Performs minor surgery. Visits local nursing homes.
